Are there A/C/heating in the units?
Yes, the thermostat is located on the top floor in the hallway. PLEASE  DO NOT set the A/C below 72 in the summer as the unit could freeze up. If a service call is required a charge of $150.00 will be charged to the guest.

Power outages?
With visiting the mountains sometimes wind, hail or heavy rains may cause power outages, although no refunds are given for acts of nature, we want you to have
a great time so please call us to report.  
Where can I find the fire extinguisher?
One is located in the kitchen, one outside on the porch near grill and one in the gameroom.  Please take a moment to locate them in case of an emergency.

Is this unit child proof?
The unit is not child proof; if you are visiting with small children, please take a minute to place items that could cause harm out of their reach. Our floor can be slippery when wet. Please dry your feet thoroughly before stepping out of the tub or coming in with wet suits.  In addition, decks will be slippery after rain, snow or sleet, please use carefully.

Is smoking permitted in your unit?
No smoking is allowed at anytime inside the cabin.

How do I use the T.V. remotes?
All TV's are equipped with Direct TV satellite, just press the GUIDE button on remote scroll up or down to desired channel press select, volume is also controlled with Direct TV remote.
The pond:
We are happy to offer a catch and release childrens pond at the bottom of the hill, you will need to bring your own fishing equipment. You may drive down and park beside the pond or walk down. 
The Hot Tub: 
For your safety, our hottub is emptied, cleaned and sanitized after each guest. We recommend that only those over the age of  13 use our hottub.  Those that are ill, elderly or impaired should not use the hottub.  Do not turn the hottub off or remove the bromine float.  This make the bromine ineffective against bacteria. Please shower before and after entering hottub.  Full instructions are located on the wall beside the hottub.
The Firepit:
Please use the firepit with the upmost care, you are in the foothills of the Smokies and fires spread very quickly!  Never use an accelerant to create a fire, start by using small branches or small pieces of wood.  Keep children away from the firepit at all times!  Keep the hose handy in case of emergency!
If you have never used a firepit before please do not use ours.  It is too dangerous.
The Grill:
We offer a propane gas grill for your use.  You must turn on the gas to the grill first. Do not use a lighter to start grill as it has a starter button.  Turn knobs to flame display, then press the starter button.  Again if you have never used a gas grill before, please don't use ours. 

What is your wireless name and password? 
The password is located on the refrigerator in the kitchen.

What time is check-out?
Check out is at 10 am. When you depart, please remove trash and place in receptacle located in the carport. Load dishwasher, add detergent, and start dishwasher. Please lock the cabin.
Can I check-in early or check-out later than 10 am?
Please do not arrive before 4pm without prior authorization as the cabin may not be ready for your arrival. Furthermore, please contact us prior to your arrival to discuss the possibility of late-checkouts. 

Can I make long distance calls from the cabin telephone?
Yes!

Where is the closest grocery store?
There are a few stores nearby, Wal-Mart and Food City are located on Dolly Parton Pkw, mins from the cabin, along with Walgreens and Dollar General. 
In case of an emergency?
If you need immediate assistance dial 9-1-1 from the telephone.
